H. A. Nagaraja Rao (the "youngest" member of the GC and the Yoga guru), was one of the most active members in the previous GC despite not holding any formal position. He is the "youngest" member of this group, if you look at the number of miles that he clocks criss-crossing Bengaluru, encouraging & motivating various clusters to be active. He is the President of the new GC and would love to coordinate with the Zonal Leaders & Cluster Leaders to make all the clusters active. He is already engaging with the civic agencies through Yoga and trying to make them more efficient through Yoga techniques!
Vikram Rai (the complete “waste” of the GC) was the Treasurer in the previous GC and has also been leading the SWM initiative for BAF. He smartly juggles his time between his start-up, BAF and family commitments in Mangalore! He is the General Secretary of the new GC. He is also looking to continue to lead the SWM initiative (which literally is a “waste” of time!).
Hareesh Sivaraman (the “sustainability” man of the GC) was a Cluster Council Member of BAF Bangalore South earlier and has been actively involved in engaging apartments in the Begur area in various sustainability issues. If you call him and his phone is switched off, it just means that he is at home where there is no network and will give you a call back when he gets out of his home and gets back to civilization! He is the Treasurer in the new GC and is looking to play the role of Zonal Leader for a few clusters in South Bengaluru!
K. Arun Kumar (the “intellectual” of the GC, having graduated from XLRI with a gold medal) has been part of BAF & BAF GC right from inception in 2014. He was a Vice President in the previous GC with the highlight being organizing BAMBOOS (we were all BAMBOOSLED with his organizational skills). He is a Vice President in the new GC and is looking to lead the sales & marketing initiatives of BAF, with a target of expanding the membership of BAF to 10000 members (hope he misses seeing the extra “0” in the number and agrees to this target!)
K. V. Prasanna (the “junglee” of the GC) was a Vice President in the previous GC and the only thing that can bring him back to the city from the forest is his love for lakes! If you call him and his number is not reachable, it means that he is spending his time in a forest for sure. All that you need to do to bring him back is to tell him that a lake in Bengaluru is being encroached! He is a Vice President in the new GC and is looking to lead the BAF initiatives on water!
Shankar Swaminathan (the “safe bet” of the GC) was actively involved in SWM initiative, apart from leading the fire safety initiative as well as other safety initiatives of BAF as a GC representative in the previous GC. His vast experience in the oil & gas industry across the world means that safety & compliance runs in his blood, as was evident in his pointing out even a small misplaced wire running under a carpet during the AGM! He is a Vice President in the new GC and is looking to lead the safety & compliance initiatives of BAF!
Ajay Mehrotra (the “Bill Gates” of the GC) was a Joint Secretary in the previous GC and led the social media & technology initiatives of BAF in conjunction with Akriveia. His long list of achievements in the global technology innovations industry was embellished even more during the AGM, when he was able to get the HDMI port working which even the video mixing guy could not do. He is a Joint Secretary in the new GC and is looking to lead the technology & social media initiatives of BAF!
Sandhya Bhat (the “voter” of the GC) was leading the AARAMB initiative of BAF along with playing an active part in the SWM initiative as well as taking part in many other activities, as a GC Representative in the previous GC. Sending an email to her personal email id might or might not elicit a response, but if you send an email to her on firstname.lastname@example.org, you will receive a response even before you press the send button in your message. She is a Joint Secretary in the new GC and is looking to lead the AARAMB initiative of BAF apart from contributing to the SWM initiative!
Vidya Goggi (the “firebrand” of the GC) was a Joint Secretary in the previous GC and has been the official interface for BAF with the RERA / KAOA groups, apart from managing the monthly newsletter and pretty much getting involved in various activities of BAF. All that it takes to ignite the fire in the firebrand, is to tell her about lack of participation in an AGM or apathy of an MC Member (and the person talking to her better not be the one who did not attend the AGM)! She is a Joint Secretary in the new GC and is looking to lead the focus group initiative on RERA / KAOA, play the zonal lead for North & Malleshwaram and also help in sales & marketing.
Dheeraj Gupta (the “silent killer” of the GC) was the Cluster Secretary of BAF Whitefield earlier and played a very important role in making the cluster one of the most active clusters of BAF. He lets his work rather than his words speak for itself and hence his silent & quiet demeanor might catch people off guard! He is a Governing Council Member in the new GC and is looking to play the role of Zonal Leader for a few clusters in East Bengaluru!
Jamir, the most "ATTractive" man of the GC (refer to his photo for his dashing looks), works for "AT&T" and is one of the newest entrants into the GC. His positive ATTitude and strong ATTention to detail has played a very important role in the blooming of BAFs flagship event BAMBOOS over a period of time. Juggling his time between family, office, apartment MC & BAF GC, he has all the ATTributes to build the BAF presence in the South Zone as Zonal Leader!
Ram Kumar Pandey (the “electronic” man of the GC) is a newbie to BAF but has been involved in various initiatives in the Electronic City area. He has shown a strong resolve and is committed to bringing a lot of apartments in the Electronic City area into the BAF fold. He is a Governing Council Member in the new GC and is looking to take the initiatives of BAF to the Electronic City area & beyond!
Umesh Jagannath (the “motivator” of the GC) was the Cluster Secretary of BAF RRNagara earlier and has been extremely successful in motivating & mobilizing apartments in the RR Nagar area to join BAF & take part in BAF initiatives. Where other clusters struggle to get even a few people to attend the AGM, he ends up motivating almost 10 people to join the Cluster Council itself! He is a Governing Council Member in the new GC and is looking to play the role of Zonal Leader for a few clusters in West Bengaluru!
R. Balasubramanian (or "Bala Sr", as we refer him as) has been part of BAF & BAF GC right from inception in 2014 playing key leadership roles during the evolution and growth of BAF. He was the President of previous term of the Governing Council of BAF and continues in the current GC as the ex-officio President where he continues to guide, mentor and support.
Srikanth Narasimhan was one of the enlightened apartment residents who came forward to take up issues concerning apartments residents and then played a key role in the founding of BAF. He has been part of BAF & BAF GC right from inception in 2014 and has played a key role in its evolution and growth since then. He is also the co-founder and General Secretary of a brand new citizen-lead Bengaluru-centric political outfit called Bengaluru Navanirmana Party with an objective to completely reform the governance of Bengaluru City.
