Arise! Awake! Residents of Apartments in Mahanagara of Bengaluru!

(An initiative of Bangalore Apartments’ Federation to mobilize apartment residents to vote in bulk, to put a full stop to the continuous harassment inflicted on us)

Dear Apartment Resident,

Please read this note carefully before filling the attached form.

Our Government has classified people living in apartments as "BULK CONSUMERS" to impose ridiculous conditions upon us and harass us continuously. If we are being classified as bulk consumers, we can also turn into "BULK VOTERS"!

Your one vote is not just one vote but part of hundreds of votes in your apartment. If a few apartments in your ward come together, it becomes thousands of votes. And if more apartments in your constituency come together, it becomes tens of thousands of votes!

Your apartment is part of hundreds of apartment associations that are coming together as part of this initiative launched by Bangalore Apartments’ Federation.

Many politicians have told that they will listen to us only if we are a VOTE BANK! So, let’s become one!!!!

This short questionnaire, which should not take more than 2 minutes of your time, will help us in collating information relating to the registration status of apartment residents as voters. This will be followed by details of how to register yourself in your electoral rolls to make sure that you are eligible to vote during elections. We are also planning to run voter registration programmes in your apartment / locality, depending on the numbers.

Please support us to help protect your interests!

NOTE 1 : You have to fill in this form separately for each individual of your family. For example, if there are 3 eligible voters in your family, you have to fill the form separately for each of them.

NOTE 2 : It does not matter whether you are an owner or a tenant in your apartment. You are eligible to vote in your ward if you have been living here for more than 6 months.

NOTE 3 : If you are not able to see your apartment in the dropdown list and would like to take part in this initiative, please contact us and we will get back to you!
